By using this website or requesting an estimate from 1-2-3-FLOOR, you agree to these terms. Every individual project is governed by the written proposal or agreement signed for that project — if anything in a signed agreement differs from these terms, the signed agreement controls.

1-2-3-FLOOR provides luxury vinyl plank (LVP) installation, carpet installation, and hardwood floor refinishing throughout Metro Detroit, Michigan.

Website content describing our services is for general information only. The scope of work, materials, timeline, and results for your project are defined exclusively in your written proposal.

Estimates are free and provided without obligation. Because every project varies based on measurements, material selection, existing floor condition, and project scope, pricing is provided only after an on-site evaluation and is presented in a written estimate.

Written estimates are typically valid for the period stated on the estimate itself. Prices may change if the scope of work changes, measurements differ from the initial information provided, or material costs change before the project begins.

Project dates are scheduled in good faith and may be adjusted due to weather, material delivery delays, prior project overruns, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any changes promptly.

You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area, including clearing the space of furniture, valuables, and personal items as outlined in your proposal, and to inform us of any hidden conditions such as pipes, wiring, or floor damage before work begins.

Payment schedules, deposit amounts, and accepted payment methods are specified in your written proposal. Deposits may be applied toward materials and scheduling. Final payment is due upon project completion as described in the proposal.

Late payments may result in the suspension of work and may accrue reasonable collection costs as permitted by Michigan law.

We stand behind our work. If a defect in our installation or refinishing workmanship appears, contact us and we will make it right in accordance with the warranty terms stated in your written proposal.

Manufacturer warranties on flooring materials are provided by the material manufacturer, not by 1-2-3-FLOOR, and we will assist you in pursuing a manufacturer claim where applicable. Warranties do not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse, moisture intrusion, structural movement, or modifications made by others after completion.

Hardwood refinishing results depend on the existing floor's species, previous finishes, repairs, and condition. We will discuss realistic expectations with you before work begins; some characteristics of an older floor cannot be fully eliminated by refinishing.

To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, 1-2-3-FLOOR's total liability for any claim arising from a project is limited to the amount paid for the work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use of the property, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

All text, images, branding, and design on this website belong to 1-2-3-FLOOR or its licensors and may not be copied or reused for commercial purposes without our written permission. You may not misuse this website, attempt to breach its security, or use it to transmit unlawful or harmful content.

Our website links to third-party services, including our estimate request form provider (Jobber). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their availability or actions.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute arising from these terms or a project will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan, unless the parties agree in writing to another arrangement.

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Changes apply to website use and to new project agreements going forward; completed projects remain governed by the terms in place when the work was performed.
